Webb named to SEC community service team


Fayetteville, Ark. –Braydon Webb of Arkansas was named to the 2022 SEC Baseball Community Service Team in recognition of his accomplishments beyond the realm of competition.

Webb was actively involved in the Fayetteville community during his time as Razorback. For the second year in a row, he worked with Team Impact to support Arkansas’ annual Childhood Cancer Awareness Game.

The McKinney, Texas native was named to the CoSIDA 2022 All-District Academic Team (District 6) and currently boasts a 4.0 GPA as he pursues his Masters in Operations Management at the University. from the Arkansas College of Engineering. Webb earned his bachelor’s degree in finance.

On the field, Webb is a major contributor to Arkansas’ offense with 12 homers and 32 RBIs in 46 games this season. He ranks second on the Hogs in home runs (12), runs scored (42), field goal percentage (.422), slugging percentage (.545), and stolen bases (8).

The SEC appoints a community service team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, seeking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community through superior service efforts.
