Loudoun County has opened the application process for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The CDBG program provides funding on an annual basis for local projects that meet a variety of housing, public service and community development needs. Eligible applicants for CDBG funds include local non-profit organizations and local government entities in Loudoun County or those serving residents of Loudoun County. The proposed projects must meet the objectives of the CDBG program, which include the provision of affordable housing, the revitalization of neighborhoods, the renovation of substandard housing, the provision of public services and the expansion of opportunities for economic development, mainly for people in rural areas. low and moderate income households.
