Dozens of Israeli military vehicles began deployment near the tents of Bedouin Palestinians on the plains of the northern West Bank, ahead of live-fire military exercises.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghma said the soldiers deployed their vehicles in front of the tents of Palestinian herders in the al-Farisiyya area.
He added that the army intended to conduct live ammunition and shell drills in the area and that the Palestinians had been ordered to leave during the training.
It should be mentioned that a month ago the Israeli army conducted one of the largest military exercises in years, with the participation of hundreds of vehicles, causing excessive damage to the Palestinian grasslands.
The army is conducting military exercises in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including the northern plains near Hebron and Jenin, among others.
These training exercises, carried out by the Israeli occupation army, led to the massive destruction of land and other property, burning hundreds of dunams of agricultural land, displacing hundreds of Bedouin families and causing dozens of casualties, including deaths.
