DUBAI, October 17, 2021 (WAM) – The Ministry of Community Development (MoCD) presents its technological achievements during the 41st edition of GITEX Technology Week, which was held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 17 to 21.
Organized in cooperation with the competent authorities, the MoCD’s participation is part of its commitment to provide quality and proactive digital services to members of society.
Moza Al Akraf Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Development, said: “The vision to develop the services of the ministry matches the aspirations of the leadership and government of the UAE in accordance with the new methodology of government action plans. allowing all members of the community to receive everything they need with the least amount of effort and in the shortest possible time. ”
At GITEX, the ministry will also present the “Digital Wellbeing Platform”, which is part of its digital wellbeing program, which aims to raise awareness of digital risks and challenges and promote safe and positive use of digital technologies and digital technologies. Internet. The platform includes several themes: electronic footprint, digital privacy, electronic games, electronic bullying and other hubs. Since its launch earlier this year, the platform has registered more than 383,000 visits.
The platform also includes the cybersecurity test for children and adults which measures their cybersecurity awareness. The test is accessible through the online security platform on the ministry’s website. After passing the test, the ministry issues an electronic certificate to the participant.
It also highlights the partnership with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) to streamline services provided to MoCD clients requesting marriage grant, providing a bank statement with minimal effort and in record time.
In addition, the ministry is introducing a unified mobile application provided by the ministry on iOS and Android platforms, designed to integrate ministry services to clients and staff in a single app.
MoCD will also present its protection package named Soan app, a smart application to improve the early detection of cases of abuse through a series of questions, on the basis of which a person receives a service to ensure their protection against further abuse.
Among its showcases is the Integrated Social Platform, which supports the UAE’s social protection sector by providing real-time data to beneficiaries of social services. The platform is the result of the efforts of more federal and local entities and serves more than 150,000 customers nationwide.
The ministry’s booth also includes several other technological solutions it offers to citizens and residents of the UAE.
