Blueprint Newspapers editor and gubernatorial candidate on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform in Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, has urged Nigerian youth to shun political brutality while actively participating in the 2023 election campaigns.

Malagi, who is also the Kaakaki Nupe, gave advice this weekend while receiving an award for excellence in community development and service to humanity from Takuti Global Nigeria Ltd.

Represented by Jibrin Baba Ndace, the former chief press secretary to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, the Kaakaki Nupe urged Nigerian youth to stay focused on achieving a better future.

The gubernatorial aspirant said, “Young people need to stay focused and they need to believe in themselves as the future leaders of the country and Niger State in particular.”

Malagi urged the youth and all people in Niger State to ensure careful consideration of all gubernatorial candidates to get the best for the job.

He said: “So I urge you to put all gubernatorial aspirants in the running for the ladder to elect the best person to become the party’s nominee.”

The Kaakaki Nupe congratulated the management of Takuti Global Ltd for recognizing their modest contributions to society and humanity in general.

Mohammed Abubakar Takuti, described the gubernatorial aspirant as the voice of the masses.

He said, “This is a great award as the voice of the masses in recognition of your immense contributions to the growth and development of humanity and the country at large.”

In a brief quote, Malagi was described as a very generous philanthropist who built schools, hospitals, boreholes, mosques in his community.

The citation added that “he has also sponsored an ongoing N40 million rural electrification project in his community.”
